The 69th International Colloquium on Refractories (ICR 2026) officially opens at September 16, 2026, running through September 17 in Aachen, Germany. As one of the world's premier events for , high-temperature processing, and industrial bricks, ICR 2026 brings together global technical leaders, refractory producers, and industrial buyers to share groundbreaking innovations. is proud to participate in this distinguished gathering, presenting its full spectrum of high-duty raw materials including alumina micro-powder, tabular alumina, white fused alumina, mullite, and magnesia products.
Driven by the global industrial demand to extend the service life of furnaces, improve thermal efficiency, and reduce carbon emissions, refractory material manufacturers are increasingly specifying high-purity synthetic aggregates. At ICR 2026, HUAO showcased how its comprehensive product portfolio enables customers to design refractory bricks, amorphous castables, and high-temperature integral liners to withstand severe thermal stress and chemical erosion.

High-Purity Alumina Powder and Tabular Alumina for Advanced Formulations
At the center of this exhibition space is its high-purity alumina micro-powder series. Manufactured through controlled calcination and precision micro-grinding, these ultra-fine powders feature high alpha-phase crystal conversion ( -Al₂O₃) and low Na₂O content. Integrated into low-cement (LCC) and ultra-low cement castables (ULCC), Our alumina micro-powder acts as a reactive binder, reducing water demand while boosting cold crushing strength and hot modulus of rupture (HMOR).
Complementing the micro-powder line, we presents its premium tabular alumina, a pure sintered corundum produced without external sintering additives. Featuring an Al₂O₃ purity exceeding 99.2%, high bulk density (>= 3.5 g/cm³), and low apparent porosity (<= 5.0%), Our factory's tabular alumina provides exceptional thermal shock resistance and slag resistance. It serves as an essential aggregate for critical steelmaking components, including ladle purging plugs, sliding gate plates, tundish nozzles, and blast furnace troughs.
Expanding its raw material offerings, we also highlighting its white fused alumina (WFA) and synthetic mullite grains. Our white fused alumina is electro-fused at ultra-high temperatures from high-purity alumina, yielding high hardness, high thermal stability, and low impurity levels suitable for high-grade refractory bricks and surface finishing. Meanwhile, Our company's mullite products exhibit high resistance to creep at elevated temperatures, ideal for ceramic kiln furniture and hot-blast stove linings.
To address aggressive slag and alkaline environments, we exhibit its high-purity magnesia line. Designed for steelmaking ladles, cement rotary kilns, and non-ferrous smelting furnaces, Our magnesia products deliver high refractoriness under load and chemical resistance against basic slag, offering complete material integration for high-temperature industries.
maintains strict ISO-certified quality control across every processing stage. Each shipment undergoes thorough testing for chemical composition, grain size distribution, density, and thermal behavior to ensure consistent performance under extreme operating conditions.
We warmly invites global partners, refractory engineers, and industry professionals attending ICR 2026 in Aachen to meet with our technical representatives, discuss tailored grain sizing and chemical specifications, and build long-term business relationships.
